[00:00:00] I'm sorry about that coach.
[00:00:16] Sit your line for PM and sit down.
[00:00:17] Yes sir Steve Kerr.
[00:00:18] Thank you.
[00:00:19] Still you got down there pretty quick.
[00:00:21] Yeah well you know I think it fell.
[00:00:22] It should only take as long as the tune easy lover by Phil Collins and Philip Bailey to
[00:00:26] get dressed in the morning.
[00:00:27] Makes sense.
[00:00:28] Yeah. episode of the Revisited podcast. I'm Ben. And I'm Lavender. This week we're covering Ted Lasso Season 1 Episode 5 Rainbow. You stole my joke. I was going to say it's funny because this episode was almost called Lavender. It was oh, well, no, that's my name this week is Lavender.
[00:01:42] Yeah, because Kristen didn't feel that way. All right. Well, we'll get into it. But I do have to say real quick that by the time we record next week, I will have been in the building with Breck Oldstein. That is very, very, very cool.
[00:03:01] I am so excited this coming week.
[00:03:03] I am Breck Oldstein's tour is hitting Philly and I am, doesn't need to. Yeah. And there are some people that are like that. There are some people that are, you know, I'm going to wait because I do have a connection to the number one morning show here in Philly. And usually, anytime they bring in a large guest in studio and I know about it, I usually
[00:04:21] can just text and be like, Hey, can I come in?
[00:04:24] Like it's how I met Eddie Iser and out of colors you know I do want to say that. I do want to say that I am on a different computer this week and I don't know how to shut off my notification so if you hear a dinging in the background I apologize.
[00:05:41] Has it happened over the time we've been talking several times I haven't heard it all. just started watching Ted Lasso for the first time. Oh, yay. And my friend Rob and his wife, Kat, just started watching Ted Lasso for the first time. And the reports from both of them are they absolutely love the show. That's awesome. But as I was mentioning, if you are watching for the first time and you want to avoid spoilers, we will do a spoiler full section at the end.
[00:07:03] Just check the show notes for the times.
[00:07:04] This one will have a chunky little...
[00:07:07] Yeah. nods to all the rom coms, I'm sorry. It's just so over the top cheesy. I was so like, come on, can we please move on from this? I loved it. I loved every second. I hated it. I hated it. I hated it. And the whole time, I'm like, you know, this episode would be a lot better and probably 10 minutes shorter if we took out all the rom com references.
[00:08:21] Like it was, it's relied so heavily on rom com
[00:08:27] nods and lines and everything. they have actually been married for 29 years. I know, I know. Dave found that out last night when we were watching it and it just, the Higgins's are my favorite. They're my favorite. I love that family so much. From like his ringtone to, you know. Yep, the whole story.
[00:09:40] We mentioned, because we heard a couple episodes ago.
[00:09:42] She showed up all in blue.
[00:09:44] I know.
[00:09:45] And it was that part of the song.
[00:09:47] Yep.
[00:09:47] That was it.
[00:09:48] Yeah. And they've been married for 29 years. I was like, that's just. See, you don't need a rom-com for a sweet story. That's a real story. It's so cute. I did. You want to know how I discovered that was I was. Well, well, yeah, it was it was an IMDB, but it was because I was researching
[00:11:02] whether or not the elderly couple we see later in the episode.
[00:11:07] I wanted to see if that story was real.
[00:11:09] Was it? face clears day what they are. Some of them are a little hidden. Like some of them are a little under the radar and not as obvious. I will tell you coach Introducing coach Kent. Oh, what an entrance. It's God When he punches his knee like that though I just like every every part of my body wants to wretch up the last meal
[00:13:45] You know, didn't love that mate? You know who didn't love that moment? Nate. Nate. But just you to put only I had only because I had heard it before, but putting putting that aside. It's it's such a great moment because we see Roy with that whooosh stand up straight with this confidence and exuding this confidence is he's walking out because he's Roy fucking Kent walking out in front of that crowd,
[00:16:23] accepting the role of coach with Ted.
[00:17:21] Yes, thank you. Yeah.
[00:17:22] I'm just, he's just never had anything nice to say about Richmond anyways because he
[00:17:27] was fired.
[00:17:28] You know, well, it's, it's, it's in my list of quotes too.
[00:17:32] Like just Roy pulls no punches against anybody.
[00:17:35] And it's one of my favorite things about him.
[00:17:37] I thought he was going to cry in that last moment.
[00:17:41] I thought he was going to be crying.
[00:17:42] Right.
[00:17:43] We can't again.
[00:17:44] Yeah.
[00:17:45] No, I don't think he wanted to be, you know, I'm a really, and I'm just going to say this, and it may sound arrogant to some people. I'm a really good singer. I train in opera. I've been to Europe. I've been in
[00:19:03] a ton of choirs. I've done a lot of the similar journey and again not to sound arrogant about any of it because I don't think it is you know it's your own personal perspective of yourself. I growing up always wanted to be an actor like I did drama in high school and in college I did stage plays and I was good at it like I audition Although I am when I moderate, I was more meant to kind of like address the crowd, if that makes sense. It totally makes sense. And it's when, I don't know, I really think that once we start doing what we were meant to do, things kind of like fall in place for us and things start to get
[00:21:41] life starts to get easier, you know? So it's nice to see Roy, to give him Macadoo. Please fix the captain that you, Roy Kent, appointed because you Roy Kent saw something in Macadoo that obviously nobody else did. So fix him. And Roy knew exactly what to do. And I think that that kind of success
[00:23:00] and that kind of feeling that he got,
[00:23:02] watching that success on the field
[00:23:05] from something that he missed. And now he gets to be a part of it again. Yes.
[00:24:20] And it's, and going to the whole Ted of the whole thing,
[00:24:23] you're right, like what a gift for Ted to do it.
[00:24:26] There's a moment when he says, you know,
[00:25:22] a coach, Ted's learning about the game. Yeah, absolutely.
[00:25:23] It's there's so much greatness that comes from the Roy Kent side of this episode.
[00:25:27] Sorry, Nate.
[00:25:29] Oh, we'll get to Nate.
[00:25:30] Sorry, Nate.
[00:25:32] Trust me, we will get to Nate.
[00:25:33] But yeah, like there's just, I love the Roy Kent element of this episode.
[00:25:43] One of my favorite moments of that whole get so concerned with being a pro player that they forget that they once loved this game as a kid? Yeah, well, it's a popular trope in sports movies
[00:27:05] of the whole being taken to task
[00:27:07] and going back to your roots. They took this trope and they refreshed it and they made it enjoyable and they made you appreciate the trope again. That's one of the things this show does so well. Yeah, you know what they don't do well? Romcom references. Yeah. I don't, okay, I'm gonna put this out there now.
[00:28:20] When we solicit for feedback
[00:28:22] next for next week's episode,
[00:28:24] I need to hear where you side on this.
[00:28:28] Whether you're siding with me do you find one that is kind of original in its concept? There's always reused elements of it. I mentioned this when we did, I can't remember if it was on this podcast or if it was on movie swap or it was something different, but I discovered a Christmas movie this year that I really enjoyed because it made fun of tropes so much you're coming from with the romance tropes. I just think that I just like the, I think to me it was more, it was less making, it was less throwing in the romance tropes and more how many movie references can I pick up on this episode.
[00:31:02] To me that was fun.
[00:31:05] That's all right. the stadium. Yeah, that doesn't count. That doesn't count because they're not in the scene together. They're not together in the scene. They're separate. Yeah, that's like, that's like saying you went to the pink concert and you sang with her. Or that's like saying I'm best friends for Brett Goldsene just because I was in the same building. Right. Right. Which I will be saying next weekend. So be prepared. That your best friends that you and him are best friends.
[00:32:25] Roy, no, Brett Goldsene and I hung out are just them shaking hands and bowing. Yeah And then he goes to Nate
[00:33:42] And he realizes he doesn't have anything with Nate so he goes and he fixes his tie Nate recoils
[00:34:42] I know and what a great smile he has. Like he just, his teeth are perfect.
[00:34:45] Can we just talk about his teeth for a second?
[00:34:47] His teeth are perfect.
[00:34:48] I'm a teeth person, all right?
[00:34:50] If you have bad teeth, like I get real weird, okay?
[00:34:53] His teeth are perfect.
[00:34:56] And he's just smiling and clapping.
[00:34:58] Like he does, like, it's a huge moment
[00:35:02] when Roy comes into that stadium
[00:35:03] and old macadoo could have gotten angry
[00:35:07] that, you know, the's feeling real good, real proud of himself, could've sneezed at any moment. Hold on. But, excuse me. Wow. And then, I'm just getting,
[00:36:20] I'm still getting over the flu.
[00:36:21] So I'm really sorry.
[00:36:23] I sound like I sound.
[00:37:21] for her's britches. Anyways, I just thought of a wolf
[00:37:23] and sheep's clothing in that moment.
[00:37:26] So wait, so you're telling me he didn't have the coat on
[00:37:30] when before Roy steps out,
[00:37:32] and then once Roy steps out, he has the coat on?
[00:37:34] That I don't know.
[00:37:35] I know that when he went out on the pitch,
[00:37:37] initially he went out in just that suit.
[00:37:40] He did not have the raincoat on.
[00:37:43] Oh, okay.
[00:37:45] Yeah, that's interesting,
[00:37:46] because I never really noticed it.
[00:37:47] I'm actually looking at it now as we're talking. thing that I believe was on purpose. Well, and not only that, but like it's something that I don't think Nate kind of realizes is that like you have coach, you have Ted, who's the head coach, you have beard, who's the assistant head coach, you have Nate, who is an assistant coach, but he's not the assistant head coach. That's beard. When Roy comes in and takes his place as a coach, he goes to the back of the
[00:39:02] line.
[00:39:03] Yeah.
[00:39:04] Like Roy knows his place on that pitch. Well, I mean, and that's yeah. And that's just it. Roy put in the time. He didn't he hasn't not only been there all that time, he put in the work. Yeah. The story that he tells Macadoo is that he grew up in like the slums of London.
[00:40:21] And every night would go down and practice on that field.
[00:40:24] And every time that he felt he was pitch think much of him when he laughs at him. And I think this is the breaking moment. It's, well, I mean, you're right, because I picked up on that too, is that the fact that like coach knew he was being serious.
[00:41:42] Like coach knew that Nate wasn't joking,
[00:41:44] but Ted didn't, Ted thought he was joking. too that I feel like is kind of undermining Nate. And it's done in a joking way, but if you look at it in a deeper sense, it really is undermining Nate in that by not allowing Nate, by taking the ball out of Nate's whistle, he in essence is taking Nate's voice away as a coach. It's a hilarious moment. He's like, no, no, I gave you an inside whistle.
[00:43:01] He needed an inside whistle.
[00:43:03] Yeah, because he was constantly blowing a whistle inside.
[00:43:07] It's a funny moment, but a little bit later, as we progress forward, it does more harm than good. Yes. For Nate, because this confidence is not to say Nate should be timid and conserved like he has been.
[00:44:21] But this confidence that Keely and Rebecca give to Jade who we meet Jade this episode Jade is a Extremely unlikable character and it's not the last we see no, but in this episode and others to come Yeah, she's extremely unlikable. Yes
[00:45:42] But like even when he goes out and he he z phone number two and she's like no. I'm very picky. Very picky. I have standards. Yeah, but like to the point where we go into the next scene of Nate walking out to the pitch in a suit for the first time. Looking like a fool, that's not how Richmond dresses. That's not how
[00:47:02] Richmond acts. Yeah. You know, he elegance to the tailor. And I was like, I don't know why this quote is sticking out to me. And then I kind of, I looked into it. No, it's not a rom-com, we're breaking away from the rom-com. So I'm gonna read you, I looked it up.
[00:48:22] It's a quote by Albert Einstein.
[00:48:25] The meaning of the quote, truth should prioritize accuracy, precision, and factual integrity in their communication. This requires a commitment to presenting information objectively without distorting or exaggerating it for Your responsibility is to report the facts and present an accurate account of the events to your audience. The truth is of paramount importance in this situation. So in that moment with Ted, right before he quotes that line to Dr. Sharon, Ted is like complimenting Nate.
[00:51:07] He's saying how good he looks when he goes out does have Nate's best intentions. Oh, I would definitely agree with that. I'm just seeing it from Nate's perspective at this point. Listen, I'm not a Nate fan. We all know this. OK, defending him makes me feel ill, but I do see in this episode.
[00:52:23] The cracks without going too far into it. I see the cracks.
[00:52:24] Well, starting from episode one of this season, we have seen
[00:53:25] I do switching switching, switching stories just a little bit. I do love watching Jamie in the background,
[00:53:29] looking at the express, the Nespresso machine.
[00:53:33] I don't know why, but like everything he did in the background of that one scene,
[00:53:37] all nonverbal, I thought was just hilarious.
[00:53:40] I don't know why he as he's walking out of the locker room and he sees the Nespresso machine,
[00:53:44] he's like, Oh, you know, I guess we get of Jamie that episode. We don't even get any Jamie this episode, really. This is the only Jamie we get this episode. Yeah. Well, because, and I feel like, and I'm gonna try and put this as spoiler free as possible, because we needed Coach Kent to progress further. To further his story.
[00:55:00] It's kind of like, I'll use Hogwarts Legacy
[00:55:02] as a prime example.
[00:55:03] Okay.
[00:55:04] You and I are the same exact way. That's it. So, you know. And I love Danny's little bit. He goes, oh no, I don't drink coffee. My mom said when I was born, I was born caffeinated. I love Danny Rojas so much.
[00:56:23] He was a golly. I can't imagine that show without him.
[00:56:26] Without Danny Rojas?
[00:56:27] Yeah, Danny Ro yeah, man, I really messed up there. I play verbally. He's like, don't argue with me. And then he realizes, oh, I don't know how to yell at him. He agreed. Jan is honest with himself.
[00:57:41] He's honest with everybody else.
[00:57:43] He's just, he's Dutch.
[00:57:44] He is, and those his way of making everybody better is to blame. Mm-hmm. And it takes Roy to kind of shake him out of that. Well, he's the captain. He needs to take accountability. This is his team now, you know? Yeah.
[00:59:00] If you're the captain, you're going to wear the captain band.
[00:59:02] You've got to be the captain.
[00:59:04] Yeah.
[00:59:05] You know, and I think that takes your money. Breaking off of this and going back to Higgins for a minute, there's something that happens in this episode that I absolutely love and that we get mentioned of AFC Rexxham. Oh yeah, Ryan Reynolds. When he talks about Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mecklehenny, and he's like,
[01:00:23] I didn't take the call because I don't know if they're being serious, yeah, or not. by an otherwise beloved character named Higgins. While we hold the incomparable Jeremy Swift in No Ill Regard and are honored to be mentioned on the platform that's brought us high quality programming ranging from Mythic Quest Season 1 to Mythic Quest Season 2, that's Rob Shell, we must insist that you cease and desist
[01:01:41] from casting any doubt regarding our commitment
[01:01:43] to the club, the fans, and the entire Rexxent community. quest season one to mythic quest season two. So funny. Oh, I love that that was brought up and it was actually addressed outside of the show. Of course it was. Yeah. Especially when one of them is employed by Apple TV. Yeah. And Robin Ryan, like I just, again, it's just Rob's a freaking, or Ryan's a marketing genius.
[01:03:02] I mean, if you see some of the stuff that he's done, uh, let's see.
[01:04:01] her finger never touches out. Well, to be fair, Apple phones have a mind of their own.
[01:04:06] OK, OK, I'm looking at my notes from when I was typing them
[01:04:10] for this episode.
[01:04:11] And they have Keely turned into, uh, Keely turned into Relay,
[01:04:20] I think.
[01:04:21] Yeah, Relay.
[01:04:23] And, uh, instead of saying the punch line of the joke. Yes, we do. And it was, as Beard says, worth it. Worth it. Yep, I have that as one of my quotes, which we'll get to a little bit later. One of my other, I have like two more, three more things like, we can go back. He's like, but I saw a turning slab of meat in that restaurant and I want to go eat the whole thing. Yeah. I've never had a kababuraj Iro. Oh my God. I'm a hero. Yeah. It is, go get a euro and make sure it's lamb
[01:07:00] and get extra tzisiki sauce and enjoy every bite of it.
[01:07:06] It is so frickin' good. getting to the field, getting to Nelson Road. Oh my gosh, that montage was so great. He just, he gives up all of his cash, he gives up his watch, he's just like, because he knows he's never gonna make it on his knee. I'll tell you what Nicki Six said, but in behind the music, you gotta date your wife.
[01:08:23] I love that he finally accepts the ticket
[01:08:26] that Ted has been putting behind the ticket counter for him
[01:09:42] under Reba McIntyre. on Keeley and Nate's face of just utter all and shock. And Keeley's response is, fuck, you're amazing. Let's invade France. Let's invade France. I love it. I love it so much. Keeley's the best. I love Keeley so much. Do you know, I know she's in this season of Fargo with John Hamm.
[01:09:46] And I heard the season of Fargo is fantastic. And you don't have to have seen. I know you. Anybody wants to hang? I'll be at... Sizzler. Sizzler. Stop being sizzler. I love John Hamm. Dude is so underrated as an act. I really, really, really don't like Mad Men, but I do like John Hamm. I've never seen Mad Men and I would watch it for him.
[01:11:00] I'll tell you the movie.
[01:11:01] I know you...
[01:11:02] The treatment of women. I can't handle it on that show.
[01:11:04] I'm pretty sure. I'm pretty confident you've seen this movie.
[01:12:02] do a good job of of leaving that. It's dead.
[01:12:04] Yeah, I have that in my notes.
[01:12:06] They have the hint that it could be dead because Rebecca is responding with a smile
[01:12:11] on her face and the very next scene is Ted texting on his phone with the same smile
[01:12:16] on his face.
[01:12:17] Yep.
[01:12:18] They hint very well that it could be Ted, Rebecca.
[01:12:22] And you know what?
[01:12:23] At that moment, I was kind of okay with it.
[01:12:26] Yeah.
[01:12:26] Yeah.
[01:12:27] Yeah.
[01:13:25] about the conversation and knowing now who it is on the other side of it is that the fact that like both Sam and Rebecca are trying to be themselves without revealing everything about themselves.
[01:13:31] Like they're both very famous, very well known people.
[01:13:35] Yeah, like Keeley even says like just tell him you own Rexham and you're fucking fit.
[01:13:39] Yeah, you know, but at the same time, Rebecca and got that confidence that Rebecca probably gave him. Rebecca wouldn't have had the confidence to go after who she ends up with with the pilot if she hadn't had that experience with Sam. I like it that I don the show because they could have gone into a couple different directions with some of their storylines, but they they streamlined their story and It's why this show is so so successful Well, and it's also one of the reasons why I'm kind of glad as much as and I was one of them as much as everybody wanted more to
[01:16:20] This story when it ended. I'm okay with the fact that we didn't get more
[01:16:24] Like I'm forgetting that word?
[01:17:42] Tending to it.
[01:17:43] Tending to you're tending to the field.. That is the most immature thing that I've ever seen. I just think of him as Dunstan. He's Dunstan. Every time I see him, you're Dunstan. But you know, like even in real life, like it's Sam and Rebecca is a prime example that
[01:19:03] even in real life, like you go into a relationship, you's a very good question. Well, I asked my buddy Brett when I see him this week. Oh, OK, perfect. Yeah. Hell no, hell no. I forgot that you as a writer. He, well, he, yeah, executive story editor. He is a writer on the show. So that would be interesting. That actually would be a good question to ask.
[01:20:20] If Sam and Rebecca were to references to cheers,
[01:20:23] two more references to cheers has to be.
[01:20:27] I would think so.
[01:20:28] Ask me. We just were paying attention because nobody pays attention to Nate. Yeah. And I think that's actually brilliantly done it because I was the same way, like in the first watch, I didn't even see the down world spiral that Nate was on me neither. I was just on the lasso high. Yeah. And now we're you're right. Like I didn't see it coming at all. And now rewatching it and diving into it.
[01:21:40] Oh, the signs were there totally from the start.
[01:21:43] They're everywhere.
[01:21:44] And the fact that beer didn't get involved, the would be nobody. But as you re-watch this season, you're like, yeah, there are signs there that as much as what Nate did was a horrible bad move, he's kind of not wrong. Right, he just handled it wrong. Yeah. And that's because nobody showed him
[01:23:00] how to handle stuff like this.
[01:23:02] Yeah.
[01:23:03] His dad is a dick, his mom is an enabler,
[01:23:06] his bosses don't see him. I've agreed with him a little bit. Tearing that sign in two, totally the wrong move. Because that doesn't punish Ted, that punishes the team. But everything he does is the wrong move. Because it's all done out of a place of anger and hurt. And when you do things out of anger and hurt, you're never gonna make the right decision.
[01:24:21] You have got to calm down first and think.
[01:24:25] Once you can think rationally, Yeah, it doesn't go away the moment you leave like that. It's ingrained with you. It took me a long time to shake that. Yeah So yeah, like I can see like it's just How he handled things was not the way to do it. But like you said
[01:25:42] No one showed him
[01:27:00] How to handle this right right that he was and happen sooner in the third season. Like they waited until the penultimate of the series, and I just, mm-mm, should have happened. It should have happened sooner.
[01:27:02] And that's just me.
[01:27:04] Yeah, and I kind of that is Jade. I know. I know. She like, and it's so weird how she just like turns a dime. Like she's so
[01:28:20] awful and mean and standoffish. And then all of a sudden she's in love with him. I just,
[01:29:27] point of doing this. Let me see if I had any other spoilers. I had Jane had Nate says, uh, Nate, let's just talk about Nate. That's what my spoiler chat says. Um,
[01:29:34] I have every bullet point on my notes. I'm done. Oh, I do have one thing. Why is this
[01:29:39] episode called lavender? This episode should be called rainbow.
[01:30:46] it now, I'll do it quick because I know you're in when it comes to rom-coms. Just to give you a quick rundown of the just the quick references that they make. During Ted's rom-communism speech.
[01:30:53] rom-communism, that was great. He mentions a bunch of actors who were known for the rom-com
[01:30:59] genre in Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez. That's a great reference Danny and not a bit too late.
[01:32:08] Uh, let's see the Titanic mentioned the Titanic we uh, Titanic scene we mentioned with the two older couples that is a not too Titanic and what Harry Met Sally.
[01:32:12] Uh, let's see when
[01:32:19] Rene Zellweger gets a nod in the opening speech, but the whole
[01:32:27] Thing with Ted race or with Roy racing to the AFC Richmond game is reminiscent of Bridget Jones the edge of reason Kerry O's. Kerry O is and Chris Arendon. Wesley and Prince Humberding. Oh, I thought you were gonna say Robin Wright. No, but that would have been awesome. So we've said a lot of these quotes so far. Oh, I have a lot. One of them that I really liked was,
[01:33:44] what the hell are we gonna do here with Roy anyway?
[01:33:46] Same thing when you do, Yeah. Yeah. I said that. It's good. I told you, either take either you take down my photo or you start giving me free kebabs. 758, fair enough. Why are you bothering me so much at my kebab place? This is like my church.
[01:35:00] Who knew transubstantiation could happen with a pita?
[01:36:07] mind to. Uh,
[01:36:12] this is another one. I brought you here to remind you that football is a fucking game that you used to play as a fucking kid. Because it was fun. Even when you
[01:36:16] were getting your fucking legs broken or your fucking feelings. So fuck your
[01:36:21] feelings, fuck your overthinking, fuck have any more. No, born and caffeinated, we already said. Yeah. I love that one. I love Ted and Dr. Sharon. How am I feeling? I don't know, you know? I'm just dealing with the terror of knowing that this of what this world is all about, you know? Watching a few good friends screaming to let them out.
[01:37:41] So you're feeling under pressure.
[01:37:43] Baba Baddu quotes the song, under pressure.
[01:38:44] That takes us then into the feedback section of the podcast, in which we have the couple, which is good.
[01:38:47] Nothing from Greg or your husband this week.
[01:38:52] No.
[01:38:53] So nothing from Dave, but that's our date.
[01:38:58] Do you wanna split the feedback stuff,
[01:39:00] the Facebook stuff, or do you wanna do it?
[01:39:02] I definitely don't wanna do the last one.
[01:39:06] My voice is creepy to me. I don't really care what redemption he gets later. It's hard for me to forget such deeply disturbing stuff. That being said, all the non-nate stuff made the episode great
[01:40:22] as usual. My favorite part of the episode was Rebecca teaching Nate how to be big and you sure, but then Ted wouldn't have shown Roy what his true post-career purpose was. This episode introduced me to She's a Rainbow and is one of my favorite songs when I'm looking for something sweet to play when I'm with my partner. That's really sweet. It's crazy that someone so unapologetically kind and sweet like Higgins was ever Rupert's
[01:41:41] mistress secret keeper.
[01:41:43] Higgins really is the best.
[01:41:45] That's a montage of strangers meeting up with their loved ones before the Richmond game
[01:43:01] akin to the airport scene and love actually. Before that's listened to that. Yeah. Oh, I hope it and Kristen, this is Steve. And thank you so much for explaining the whiteboard for me. I don't know how many times I tried to pause it to see what was on that whiteboard.
[01:44:20] And I never got it.
[01:44:21] So thank you for explaining that to me.
[01:44:22] But now we're on to the next episode, Rainbow.
[01:44:25] Oh, right away.
[01:44:26] The song playing says Rainbow.
[01:44:27] Tell the episode, Mike drop. Ted just kind of laughs at Nate considering himself a big dog But again, there's not enough things that add together to what Nate does Okay, again, I know every week I'm saying something about the beauty of Hannah wadding him. How tall is she she's tall Yes, leave these texts. They're going by too fast ones with Hannah between Hannah and her
[01:45:41] I won't say who it is because that's spoilery, this Nate's getting big is spinning himself in the mirror just oh yeah wow Roy uses the effort a lot in this rant totally forgot about that. I totally forgot about that. I forgot about that one too. Yeah. So, but thank you Steve and Alex and Lindsey and Jeff and everybody for leaving feedback. If you wanna leave us feedback for future episodes or just talk about something we've already talked about,
[01:48:21] easiest way to do that, go to revisitedpod.com.
[01:48:24] There you can find the links on how to leave feedback.
[01:48:26] Listen, subscribe, all that fun stuff. Watch Welcome to Rexam, which is the documentary series on AFC Richmond, or AFC Richmond, Rexam AFC, the team that's mentioned owned by Rob McConhaney and Ryan Reynolds. Two seasons are out of the show. The show is excellent. And they just won like five Emmys for that show.
[01:49:41] Wow.
[01:49:42] So it's really well done.
[01:49:44] And it follows the team and you really discover that like these
[01:49:47] guys didn't buy this team just on a whim. Anything else before we get out of here? No, no, I'm good. So relatively. Yeah, it's a relatively longer episode this week. Sorry. We had one last week too with the Christmas episode, but try and tighten up next week. These episodes are getting longer now too though. Yeah. Like we're not into half hour episodes anymore. Like we're
[01:51:00] going into like 40 45 minute long episodes. So, but we'll
[01:51:04] still try to tighten up. Yeah, we'll still try and tighten up
[01:51:07] starting next week.
[01:52:02] So we'll see what that's all about. Next week, also, 10 last, so season two, episode six,
[01:52:05] the signal is the next episode we're going to be covered.
[01:52:09] Also known as season two, episode six, Lavender.
[01:52:12] Show.
[01:52:15] It's going to be every episode from here on out.
[01:52:19] Season two, episode six, Carol of the Lavender.
[01:52:23] Perfect.
[01:52:24] Can't wait.
[01:52:25] Everything will be lavender.
[01:52:27] With that being said, thank you as always
